DUO ANSWERS FROM FAITH
Here are the answers that Faith supplied to questions we had posed. From all other inquires made it appears that this will be required for all Members. I'm not sure, nor can anyone tell me what will happen if you don't sign up for DUO. If you have more questions feel free to contact the Hall. There has been no deadline shared.
DUO DEADLINE DELAYED
I have received more information on DUO since the discussion at the Membership Meeting and earlier post. This information has come through the International and from Jim Weel (AA Labor Relations), and is being shared by all the Locals in the system.
The DUO deadline has been delayed – since there was no prior Union notification before the February 18th deadline. The Company has responded to this failure by saying that Jetnet deadline is now being considered a “reminder to register” and not a drop-dead date.
The Company now will set up “DUO Enrollment Roadshows” in which Company Reps and IT personnel will assist Members with the enrollment process. DUO is being called a “cyberhack protection program”, and according to Jim Weel participation is not optional. He says it is “to protect the employee from someone else changing the direct deposit information” through Jetnet.
A Roadshow has been set in LAX on Monday February 25th, not sure yet of the SFO date. In the meantime, you may contact local Management with any immediate issues pertaining to this program. I have sent off a list of concerns that were gleaned from our meeting discussion and have sent that off to Faith.
